Well, only two developers out of the half-dozen have successfully gotten Apple's latest build (9a343) running the full GUI on generic PC hardware. Various calls in the kernel were "fixed" in order to bypass the security and basic EFI features that Apple implemented to tie the system to it's hardware. The core system itself boots perfectly on any PC running a processor that is a) Intel and b) SSE3 compatible. There are rumors floating around that the final build will sport a GUI that is similar to one of the apps from 10.4.8 (no, not iTunes). Check back for more news.
